pardpardeftab720 In December, 2011 construction
began on the solar power facility for the BLM’s Red Rock Canyon Fire Station.
The Capital Improvement project was funded by the Southern Nevada Public Land Management
Act. Prior to the installation of the photovoltaic array, the facility operated on a diesel fuel
generator. This project demonstrates the BLM’s commitment to clean energy.
