My name is Mattis Torn, I work at Tallinn Airport as a Chief of Rescue team. Our job is to ensure the safety in the territory of the
airport. After the alarm bells start ringing we have exactly one
minute to get ready and leave from the garage. We pass our waiting time by improving our skills and
carrying out trainings. People who come to work here are usually also take up shifts at the rescue service in
Tallinn or Harjumaa. This helps to keep us in shape. I suppose a lot of people have admired the aviation as they
were kids. The community of Tallinn Airport is very friendly, we have a lot of different people working here. The fluctuation of personnel is low here because people who
start working here usually stay for a longer period of time.
