New Boardman fire station almost move-in ready

NEW SINCE SIX — Boardman Firefighters are getting ready to move in to their new fire station. Tonight inspectors gave the green light- the building is ready to be lived in. Fire Chief Mark Pitzer says the old fire station was nearly 100 years old and needed to be replaced. There are 10 bedrooms, five bathrooms, a laundry room and a kitchen. Township Administrator Jason Loree says the buildings training facility is like no other in Mahoning County.
