Jobs for Kids & Jobs Song from Steve and Maggie | English Stories for Kids

Bye, bye boys and girls. Bye. Oh, don’t
forget your homework. Draw a picture of what you want to be. Hihi, yeah. Oh, hey Maggie.
That was a good lesson about jobs, wasn’t it. Yeah. But being a teacher is hard work.
You know some days I don’t want to be a teacher. No, I want a different job. Oh, like,
haha, a gardener. Yeah, I want to be a gardener. Ok. Abracadabra, haha.
Oh, hey. Look at me. Wow! What am I? Yeah, I am a gardener. Great! Hey, can you pretend
to be a gardener with me and say “I am a gardener.” Yeah. “I am a gardener.”
Again, “I am a gardener.” Yeah. This is great, beautiful flowers, green grass. Hey!
What’s that? Oh, no, it’s a mole. Shu, go away. Oh no, another one. Hey, and another
one. Oh and another one. Oh no, now it’s raining. OH, I don’t want to be a gardener.
Oh ou, look at Steve, he doesn’t want to be a gardener, no. Maybe he wants to be a
pilot. Abracadabra. Oh, oh look. What am I? Yeah, I am a pilot.
Hoho, great idea Maggie, yeah. I want to be a pilot. Hey. Why don’t you pretend to be
a pilot like me and say “I’m a pilot.” Yeah, “I’m a pilot.” And again, “I’m
a pilot.” Yeah. Whou. Oh no. Oh dear. I don’t like this. No, I don’t want to be
a pilot any more. Oh dear. He doesn’t want to be a pilot. But maybe, he wants to be a
police officer. Abracadabra. Hoho, look at me. What
am I? Yeah. I am a police officer. Great! Good idea Maggie. Yeah, I want to be a police
officer. Everyone must do what I say. Stop! Go! Oh, this is great. Hey, why don’t you
pretend to be a police officer like me and say “I am a police officer.” “I am a
police officer.” “I am a police officer.” Great. Oh, I am coming to help. Oh no, you
need help. Oh, you need help. Oh everybody needs my help. What do I do? Oh Maggie, I
don’t want to be a police officer. No. I don’t want to be a police officer. Ou, oh
ou. Hey, he doesn’t want to a police officer. No, but maybe Steve wants to be a firefighter.
Yeah, abracadabra. Ou, hey! Wow! What am I? Yeah, I am a firefighter. Great! Good idea
Maggie. Yeah, I want to be a firefighter. Hey, can you pretend to be a firefighter like
me and say “I am a firefighter.” Yeah and again. “I am a firefighter.” One more
time. “I am a firefighter.” Wow, what a great job. Oh no. Look there’s a fire.
What do I do? It’s really hot. I don’t want to be a firefighter. No, I don’t want
to be a firefighter. Maggie, I want to be a teacher. Please I want to be a teacher.
Abracadabra. OOoo. Thanks Maggie, look I am a teacher again.
Yeah. I don’t want to be a gardener, a pilot, a train driver, a police officer or a firefighter.
I am happy to be a teacher. Oh no, what’s that? Noisy children, oohh.
Hello, what do you want to be? I’ve got two friends here – a boy and a girl. Hey,
what does she want to be? Let’s find out. Yaeh. What does she want to be? What does
she want to be? Does she want to be an office worker? No, no. No, no. She wants to be a
police officer. She wants to be a police officer. AND… now she is a police officer. She is
happy. What do you want to be? Work hard at school and study than you can be anything
you want to be. What does he want to be? What does he want to be? Does he want to be a train
drive? No, no. No, no. He wants to be a chef. He wants to be a chef. AND… now he is a
chef. He is happy. What do you want to be? Work hard at school and study than you can
be anything you want to be. Yeah. Look she is a police officer and he is a chef. I am
a teacher and we are all happy. Yeah. Bye, bye. Oh hey, if you like it, like it. If you
