Fire truck at the Warfield Volunteer Fire Department catches fire

EXPERIENCED ANOTHER SETBACK THIS WEEKEND … A FIRE TRUCK AT THE WARFIELD VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT IN INEZ CAUGHT FIRE, DESTROYING THE TRUCK AND DAMAGING A NEARBY FIRE ENGINE. FIREFIGHTERS TOLD WYMT’S TANNER HESTERBERG THE FIRE STARTED BECAUSE OF A MECHANICAL ISSUE. Tanner: Warfield volunteer firefighters were responding to an ATV crash Sunday morning and when one of them started warming up the mini pumper truck known as Rescue One he noticed fire coming out of it. … The truck is a loss and the flames also damaged the truck sitting next to it …… It’s the latest blow to a fire department currently involved in a lawsuit against a loan company from out of state in connection to four of their trucks being repossessed in May.
